JRH Consulting has had the pleasure of working on various Hollywood productions, including the Warner Bros. productions, “Lucky You” and “Ocean’s 13,” as well as Columbia Pictures “21”. The producers of “Lucky You” knew that poker skills could not be acquired overnight, so they asked JRH Consulting to work with Robert Duvall and Eric Bana before filming began in Las Vegas. The script required that both of these gentlemen be fluent in the language, movements and actions of poker, as both were cast as ultra experienced and seasoned poker players. JRH Consulting was not only able to hone the poker skills of the actors, they worked with the script to incorporate and showcase the skills the actors acquired during their training.
Columbia Pictures produced the movie “21”, a film based around the world’s most popular casino game, blackjack. While the members of their cast were able to understand the basics of the game on their own, JRH Consulting was brought onboard to make the actors comfortable at the table and to make their actions and reactions seem effortless.
