On the set of “Lucky You,” – a recent Warner Bros. production – JRH Consulting worked with the props department to manage and reset poker scenes between takes. Prior to filming, the JRH Consulting team made several script suggestions to the producers, which kept the poker action realistic and made the story true-to-life. Once filming started on the Los Angeles lot of Warner Bros., the JRH Consulting team worked with the producers and Tournament Director Matt Savage to help ensure correct rules and procedures were followed in all poker-related scenes.
Working on the set of “Ocean’s 13,” the JRH Consulting team was responsible for not only the set up of over 50 gaming tables, but the maintenance and upkeep of these highly technical props. The set’s casino environment was filled with over 500 extras at any given time, which makes maintaining accuracy over the course of shooting difficult. While on set the team was constantly being challenged to ensure realism while not interrupting the movie-making process.
